Announcements PTA Meeting--Tuesday, Jan. 31, 2012 Please join us for our next PTA meeting, Tuesday, Jan. 31, 2012 from 6 to 7 p.m. All parents and staff invited! Show your support to our De Leon Community and attend our PTA meeting. Refreshments will be served. De Leon Night at Mr. Gatti's A family night fundraiser was held at Mr. Gattis' on Tuesday, Nov. 15th. Thank you to our students, parents and staff members in attendance. Portion of proceeds will benefit out PTA. See photos of this event on slideshow below.
PTA Meeting Our Next PTA meeting will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 1, 2011 @ 6 p.m. Please join us! Refreshments will be served.
PTA Hosting Haunted House PTA is joining forces with the 7th Grade Teachers and hosting the Haunted House at this year's Halloween Dance being held Friday, Oct. 28. PTA Members, we need your help! Help us by donating items that we can use to decorate the haunted house. We also need scary costumes, masks, paint, lights, etc. Any and all things spooky. We also need volunteers to help us set up and decorate the Haunted House. We are doing this on Thursday, Oct. 27 at 5:30.

We invite you to exercise your rights as a member by attending meetings, voting on how PTA funds are spent, and participating in PTA programs and events. Partnerships between parents, educators and children enhance children’s success. We know that children learn more and have better lives when everyone in the school community works together to share thoughts and information and work on projects to benefit children. The PTA hosts programs that benefit the children at our school. By becoming a member of our PTA, you can become an important part of helping to ensure that new plans for the 2011-12 School Year become a reality. We also welcome your new ideas!
